Main Focus - Birds.
If you are not only interested in birds, good opportunities to take pictures of Otter, butterflies and dragonflies also exist.
This workshop is especially created for those how like to practice floating hide photography. We have about 8 floating hides places in different ponds long in advance. This help the birds to get use to with them.
Moving slowly and cautiously with a floating hide, one could get very close to birds and animals at the same time being able to choose the best site considering the direction of sunlight and the background. The low positioning of the camera toward the water surface allows for interesting compositions including reflections and all. Among the main advantages of shooting from a floating hide is the opportunity of being among wildlife without causing any disturbance…if we have the right behavior of course.

The most typical birds will be: Little and Great crested grebes, Little bittern, Pigmy Cormorant, Squacco heron, Little egret, Purple heron, European spoonbill, Water rail, Little crake, Common Moorhen, Kingfisher, Garganey, Pochard, Ferruginous duck, Great reed and other warblers, Great flamingo and White pelican and more.
